barking tree frog

I just bought one from petland and I used to have retf, but they died soooo I was just wondering my new frog is gray and doesnt bark, is it because hes not confortable yet an he'll turn green and bark soon or what?

well, only the male of the species bark or croak so you could have a female or a male that is young or still getting used to it's surroundings.

Some are green, others are brown or gray but most have spots... If it's a male, give him rain and he'll bark at night- warning: you won't sleep
