Sounds like your BP acts about like mine...a fearless explorer of the desk, couch, and living room. 
yep... and the bedroom, me, and everywhere else if I would let him. He is so active! I have never seen a BP this active anywhere! Not pet stores, not here, not in my friends house... NOWHERE! He hardly ever moves in his enclosure, but when he comes out... WOW, he is all over!
