the Visionarium cages. I'm looking for cages that can be stacked and are front opening AND relatively affordable (under $100.00). The Visionariums are 20L size, and $79.99, but I'm not sure if you can use a uth with them. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks..

Yeap, I've got one. The one complain I have with is that the lip just behind the sliding glass doors isn't high enough to keep the aspen substrate I use in the cage. It gets piled up against the doors and spills out when the doors are opened. The cage would probably be fine if you use newspaper or a paper liner rather than loose substrate.

I'm glad you mentioned that about the lip. That was one of my concerns. I use aspen also.

Its a pain. Most of my cages are sliding glass fronts and I use aspen. I have to vaccuum all the time.

See,
You guys need to live close to me.
I work in a steel fabrication shop and I could easily make aluminum plates or even pans to go in the bottom of the enclosure. A two inch lip would do wonders to keep shavings in.
I have a little 5 gallon aquarium that has a sliding screen top that I have turned on-end and use the sliding top as a sliding door.
This is for my tree frogs.
I took a piece of thin aluminum and bent one edge and placed this in the tank with the bent "leg" towards the front.
I can still slide the door and, in this case, the sphagnum moss substrate doesn't fall out.
