When I first got into ball, I purchased 10 WC's from an unnamed breeder. They were so mite and tick infested, it wasn't funny! I tried several different treatment methods, and they all seemed to actually stimulate the mites spread.
ONE treatment of provent-a-mite cleaned up EVERYTHING!!! Never to return again (Lord willing!) It's so worth the $25 a can!

I would take the directions as far as airing the cages out and multiply it by 10. I let my neo cage air out for 4 hours along with fanning it with a magazine about 5 times, and still fried my western hogs brain. He never eats, rolls over on his back, and doesn't even acknowledge me when I handle him. I have debated putting him down, but then he eats and I can't do it.
But I guess it did get rid of the mites...
