how do you sever spinal cords in rabbits.i just used to smack large rats on the corner of the cage,but rabbits are a little larger.

It takes quite a bit of skill to kill a rabbit humanely in that manner. Your best course of action would be to purchase a 20 lb. CO2 cylinder, hose attachment & tubing, and a large plastic rubbermaid container.

I agree. It's near impossible to break their necks. You wouldn't know from looking at them, but they have long flexible necks under all that fur and skin. CO2 is the way to go.

you can still also smack it against the corner, just needs to be harder, not exactly the nicest or cleanest way sometimes however, still works.
