I just couldn't be happier.I know most of you are in Daytona as I should be as well. Here is a pic of the first one all the way out.I put him in with a fresh baby applegate for comparison. These things are huge. They are about 18-20 inches long and are about 50-55 grams.

Shannon, I have a question. I just hatched a clutch of 10 red bulls. They all weighed over 50 grams and a few of them weighed just under 60. What is the normal weight of these guys? I have no clue as it was my first pit clutch.

Great looking pits by the way! Those monster bulls sure get big.

The red bulls that are from crumbly line get pretty big also.I have seen some seven footers.I don't know the average for a sayi baby across the board but these are bigger than all the morph bulls that I have hatched.I have hatched out bigger monsters in the past when the clutches have beeen smaller and the eggs were bigger also.
This clutch was large and the eggs weren't as large. These eggs were about 90-100 grams each.I have had eggs that were 125 grams each and the babies were at 85 grams out of the egg and 24 inchs long and five foot at 11 months.
Theres only three out of the egg right now at typing and one is 49,one at 51 and one at 59 grams so they will be all over the place since there are 17 of them.

Have fun.

Probably not much help, but our Kankakee bulls hatched out at 18" as did our Kentucky northerns.

For what its worth we started off feeding with fuzzy mice the first couple of meals then went with hopper mice.

I wish I had a way to weigh the eggs but she layed them on the bottom of her box and they stuck to the surface. They were by far the largest snake eggs I've ever seen, but most of my experience is with Lampro's and Elaphe's.

I started feeding a few of them a couple days ago and they all ate f/t mouse fuzzies like pigs. They are definitely all over the board as for color. From red to yellow and tan, and all in between.

Thanks again!

Shannon,
How large are the parents? That is an absolutely awesome baby bull--well actually they're both righteously awesome respectively--but the size of that youngster makes me wonder how large it will be as an adult?

The female that dumped this clutch is eight foot and is w/c.She is from a area that is known for some stupid size bullsnakes.I have collected over the years a couple males of 8"6 and 9"2and several that were 7 .This is the only female that I have seen that was eight foot. They are usually in the 7 range.
Its hard to say how large the babies will get.Its like saying a retic will get 30 feet long.I do know that these bulls have the best genetics to get large.
