My new pet frog is quite active...although the only activity it conducts is hopping on the sides of my 10 gallon tank. I'm not observing any other activities such as eating that much and I hope I can coax it to stop trying to jump...Help? Thanks.

my whites treefrog used to do this, then i moved him to a 37 gallon with another frog and he's pretty much stopped. if you have a male get a female and for a female you can get either i think. what kind of frog do u have?
I have an American Bullfrog, it's a female, but we went out to a pond and caught it, so I don't think getting a companion is an option...Unless I go to a pet shop. It's almost stopped doing this since I started feeding it crickets and worms, but sometimes it'll start breaking out in spasms again, lol.
oh, american bullfrogs...thats a different story. i also have a female american bullfrog thats a spaz. i think they are just like that naturally. maybe a bigger tank would help. what were you feeding it before? all i've ever fed mine is crix.
I was feeding it pellet food before, but I quickly switched to worms and crickets. However, it's still jumping around these days...maybe it has to do with the weather? It was fine on sunny days and today its spazzing when its very bleak and rainy. Eh, I dunno, it's still small, about 1.5 inches, so I don't know if it needs a larger tank or not.
do you keep it outside? if so it's definetily the weather. mines about 3 inches now and growing extremely fast. he is getting more mellow, before he would spaz whenever anyone walked into the room and now he usually doesn't. it could be that younger ones are just jumpier.
