Kane wants a woman but before we put a ad in the personals for him he wants to get rid of this pimple. lol It apeared right after he shed his skin. we thought it was just a piece of skin that was stuck but after looking at pics thats not the case and it grew into a pimple. we soaked it with a warm peper towel. has anybody seen this before, or have any ideas? thanks Jim

I am not sure WHAT, exactly, but judging from the little hole in the middle, its probably some kind of parasite.

Hey Jim, is the larger dark spot Kanes' natural color there? The thing in the center is not real clear in pic, explain it, or tell us more about it. Is it swollen? Does there appear to be something in there? It looks as if there is a small opening or hole in the center of the bump, is there? After you soaked it did anything come out of it? Does he ever hang upside down near a light? Just wondering if it could be a burn, what color is that thing? Eve

thanks guys for the reply. When we soaked it we didnt notice anything come out but we werent looking for that, we thought it was just a piece of skin that got stuck. i dont think its a burn it started in his old 20-gallon long which had a 60w dome on top of the screen. i know the pics arent too good(we cant all have nikons lol)but the color is pretty accuate in this pic the darker ring is pinkish brown and the center bump is a whitish brown there seems to be alittle yellow in the top left of the center bump. in the center it is swollen like a pimple that extens underneath the skin past the dark ring. the whole thing is about 1/4" and i can feel it with my finger and push it around, its solid. 2 days ago it did have a hole in the center but now its gone. i called the pet store last night they said it might be a tick because he escaped a month ago in the backyard for 6 hours. thanks for any help or ideas - jim

you can kinda see it underneath the skin in this pic bigger then the dark spot,as far as his diet he used to eat the crickets as soon as the were put in the cage(fun to watch)but now he could care less, he still eats them but we rarly see him. he still eats mealworms and waxworms as soon as they are introduced. the change with the crickets was the same time the pimple apeard. thanks again any help is apreciated - Jim
