Hi gang, here are some cool shots of got of Rana today. Once every few months she gets the "blues", and this month she is extra colorful...

The first two pics are of the "blue" Rana, the last one is right after she shed a few months ago...

Miss Rana should be a SUPER model, I think she would be much more entertaining than the human ones, hehehehee LMAO

It's amazing how different she can look. She's a beauty. I can see how easy it would be to fall in love with her! Although I still wouldn't take anything for my poor, scabby, stunted little Valentino. LOL Diane

Those are some very nice, and not too subtle, receptive colors.

Some will show very subtle blue, but she's not hiding it at all.

Often, they develop these colors for a while, and will not actually allow mating without some courtship on his part.

She usually does this every few months.. This is when I cut back on feeding and watering.. Mean I know, but I'm not going to risk her getting egg-bound. She's never had an infertile clutch on me yet and she's a year and 8 months old

That is a GREAT animal you have on your hands! I have never seen those colors on a veiled chameleon before.....

OMG! Seriously that is the most beautiful female Veiled chameleon I have ever seen in over 6 years of keeping chameleons! She is gorgeous...

for the compliment She is pretty... and nice too. It's funny because sometimes she can just look like a plain jane. Then she just explodes with color!!
