06 ghana babies approach 200 grams

wisema2297 Aug 22, 2006 01:46 AM

Can't get empty weight since they never are totally empty but they eat like horses. The largest weighed 210 after defecating the other right at 200. They still had at least their last meal in them (2 rat pups). Good weight? Feeding too much?

I always thought that was a hip way to say "Wild Caught". Is it a name of a morph?

It usually is used to describe a animals that was captive hatched from Ghana, they are far superior to the Togo, and Benin babies.

We have a bunch of may 06 ghana females that are all over 300 grams, and one that is over 450 grams all on empty. They are all rts feeders, the biggest one takes good sized small rats, almost med.Feed them what they want they will stop when they need to.The neet thing is if you raise a benin baby and a ghana under the same conditions the ghana will grow 3 times as fast, they just get bigger faster.

Great!! I was thinking I may be over feeding. I will give them as much as they want then. This is exactly what I was hoping to hear.
