Always has to be one...

Kingofspades Aug 22, 2006 08:03 AM

There always has to be that ONE snake that wants live prey huh?
My pastel, my yearling normal, and my 2200 gram female normal all take frozen thawed...but the baby, of course, has to have live hoppers...
something that is hard to get at local pet shops.

Grrr...

And she's the one I want to prove out the most, so there's no getting rid of her.

Hopefully she'll grow fast...that way if she wants live, she'll at least be able to take adult mice.

I have noticed that many people who feed f/t dangle from the tail. my pastel and one of my yearlings ALWAYS refused f/t then one day I tried grabbing the frodent by its back and running it along the as if it was on all fours I did that for about 30 seconds for my pastel then bammmmmm he grabbed it, I was like hell yeah. so I tried it with my yearling as soon as it put the frodent face to face with the snake it was all over but they are the only 2 I HAVE to do that for, for them to eat frodents.
lemme know if it works
