Blizzard Updated

becky2731 Aug 22, 2006 09:12 AM

I had posted messages/questions a few months ago about my blizzard male, Devlin. He had a Ca problem and needed a Ca injection and Ca drops everyday. His shaking finally stopped and I haven't seen even a trace of it for over a month. I cut back on his drops until eventually he didn't need them at all. He eats a ton of pure Ca powder, way more than any of my other geckos. I got in contact with the breeder that I bought him from to ask if they had noticed any similar problems with other blizzards. They told me that because I may not be able to breed him, they would give me a new male blizard. I thought that was really great, especially because that's not why I contacted them and I had bought him 4 months before. Any way he is finally growing and growing very rapidly. Althought he still hasn't mellowed out any. Still hisses and lunges at my fingers.
Devlin means fierce, so I guess he is just living up to his name. here is his old picture followed by his new one

He looks like he's doing great. His tail has really fattened up. That's awesome that the breeder is going to give you a brand new blizzard! Post pictures once you get him!
