Eye looks odd

chico32826 Aug 22, 2006 11:37 AM

Hello,
I noticed late last night that one of my ball's eyes looks odd. It's the left eye (if you are facing him) anyways, it looks much larger than the other eye and very clear. He had a shed about 2 weeks ago and I'm not sure if one of his eye caps didn't come off but when you look at the ye from an angle it looks very clear and it's difficult to see the iris and pupil. Does any one have any idea what this could be or should I take him to the vet tonight.

Sorry! I don't know what that is but I know exactly what you are talking about. I was in a local pet shop a few weeks ago looking at a ball python and it had one eye that was larger and clear if looked at from an angle. I would also like to know whats going on there if you find anything out. Andy Paulison

If any one else has any idea please chime in, otherwise I'll be taking my snake to the vet tomorrow night to see what they say. My guess is it may be an eye cap that didn't shed, but I'll see what the vet says.
