Received this check yesterday via dhl express letter.
The addressee on the envelope says David Jackson,
100 crawford loop, pollack, la. 71467. US phone no. 214-889-7465

I was selling some campbells, on another site, for about $100 total shipped. They haven't gotten back to me yet on whom to send the
"change" to.

You guys have seen this before and so have I. They've got to get themselves a better Xerox machine, and most importantly, take classes in the English language.

OK, you can go back to the real world.

this is a very popular scam, that must work with some people because i hear about it happening all the time.. It has happened to me twice!

In my case they wanted me to give the change directly to the DHL driver when he arrived to pick up the snakes... He had this whole wacky story about buying the snake for his honor student son and living outside the country and having a relative that will transport the snake to them.. they even named the snake and wanted me to begin calling the snake by its new name so it would be more comfortable with them when they opened the box????

i am glad to hear you did not fall for this scam..

I had the same crazy thing as well! The freak had a name for the snake and wanted me to start addressing the snake by its new name. However, this scam is so old that I can't imagine anyone falling for it anymore.

Get back in touch with the scammer by email and tell them you gave the "change" to some other guy (make up a name) who contacted you "on the buyer's behalf". See how pissed the scammer gets when he finds out someone is moving in on his money!

or tell him you put the change in the package with the snakes and send him photo copied snakes and photo copied money.
