Some Bauble line L.P. Pyro

jeph Aug 22, 2006 02:49 PM

well my female Bauble dropped me 9 eggs, of which only 6 were good. But sadly only 4 hatched, the 2 others were dead in the egg-(not fully developed, well one was close, but had the big head thing going on, too bad too as they were both reallly neat looking). Thought some would like to see these guys,

Nice Jeff. Any luck with the Gardner Canyon's this year?

jeph Aug 22, 2006 05:08 PM

Hey Greg,
Actually, a little luck with the Gardner Canyons. I had 7 eggs, but only 4 were good-(I had a really crappy year with my pyros, I had 66 pyro eggs on the ground, and only 25 good, and then only 19 hatched out of those 25, I hatched 33 last year) but all 4 hatched male-(bummer). 2 are nice, and then 2 are really nice. I'm thinking of keeping 1 male back, then maybe a female from them next year. Talk to you later man,
Jeff

Nice!

I bought 20 pyro's from Chris this year and they are some pretty snakes that's for sure.

Man those are awesome pyros. They are one of my favorite snakes. How important is hibernation for breeding? By that I mean how long should it be and at what temps? What if the temps are a bit too warm like low 70's during winter?

Thanks,
Dan

Hey guys

Just a heads up. I just talked to Chris and I'm going to update his site soon. He said that this year has the best group of animals ever from his killer holdbacks. I can't wait to see them myself. What you see today is 20 years worth of his dedication to these guys. I never get tired of seeing what his line produces every year. Awesome animals aren't they?
