corn snakes care

yesterday at the wassatch reptile expo i bought two corns one had already eaten and the other not. The one that had eaten sucked down on two pinks but dindt take more and the one hadnt didnt even go near one is this normal.
I put both in a 20 gal together with papertowels varios hiding places and a clean fresh bowl of water.
i feed the one that ate in a little container and thats what im trying to do with the other one but it just isnt eating should i wait a while and am i caring for them correctly.

1. You just got them yesterday. Many people don't even attempt to feed new snakes for the first few days after they get them because of stress. So far, not eating is normal. Let it settle in for a couple days and try again.

2. You may want to seperate them. Housing together -can- cause stress that stops one or both from eating. Also, you say they are a male and female. Sometimes they will breed when the female is not large enough and she can die from it (saw a pic of a 9 month old female with eggs!). You don't need to do anything special to get them to breed, they will do it anyway.
