Oh,heck, those are my 2005 babies from Suncoast Herpetological, bred by Mr Ginter, not the ones from the show. I was just adding some atmosphere to the post. Sorry.
I don't remember who was selling them but they looked like two big adults and a smaller(2 year old??) female. I think the asking price was $1500.

The trio was going for $1500 and the breeder was Tim Thomas. At a casual glance, they looked legit but was not really interested in them since I live in Texas anyway.

well, i am no expert but to me they did not look straight up. i could have been wrong. i asked (politely) where the animals originated, the vendor offered a name i was not familiar with. i said thanks and away i went.
no name recognition, no paper trail to follow, no thanks.
$1500 would be good for a legit breeding age trio.

I did not ask any questions of the seller, but someone whispered in my ear that he thought they looked as if they had a lot of bullsnake influence so I passed.....

If someone buys P. ruthveni without a paper trail that they check on and is reasonable possible, they deserve the hybrids they are likely purchasing.
If a breeder won't supply an answer to people's questions IN PRINT, doubt their word.......
In other words, if they don't look right and y'all don't have a paper trail, I think the assumption that there is no evident to demonstrate that they are probably pure is a safe one! It doesn't mean they aren't - it just means they should not bne assumed to be such.
I'd never buy one at Daytona, anyway, so I really couldn't comment on them even I'd have wasted my time attending that show. Sorry.
