Tub for rainbow boas?

tsusnakeguy Aug 22, 2006 04:18 PM

I was wondering does anyone know a good size rubbermaid type tub for rainbow boas. I am trying to find something that I could make a rack out of for my adult BRB's. Does anyone have a clue what size would do? I like the idea of rubber ones because they hold heat and humidity.

Don't know about rubermaid but I did make two racks for Iris CB110 tubs. Tub size 20" x 39" Floor area 17" x 36" or 4.25 square feet. I plan on using them for adult BRB's and subadult BCI's. Two different thermostats so I can deivide up the racks as needed.

Hey Dave,

Nice system. I was wondering if you just tape flexwat to the shelf or if you have done anything under the flexwat for heat dissipation.

Thanks,
Jamie

I painted the raw particle board where I routed out the recess for the heat tape and simply taped the flexwatt in place.
