i just found this baby today but im not sure how it is. it wont eat anything and their is nothing left of the yolk.

he is about an inch long including tail(just a guess)

I found a bunch of termites will he eat those and with they live in a container with rotting wood....even with other termites from different place next to each other?....I mean i found tons of termites in a wood pile...if they are diferent colonies and i have put some together are they going to kill each other?

Congrats!

They sell flightless fruit flies which are fruit flies without wings. Those are your best bet. Or pinhead crickets. Also try baby food...that tends to work as well. its easier to make the baby lick it than it will be to get it to eat the fruit flies, crickets right away.

Good luck!

Ok.. so trying to get the baby crix out.. Ok heres some things to try.. since im sure you know crix love places to hide like toliet paper rolls but they are too small... try a drinking straw or the paper that goes over the straw a balled up piece of paper towel, a small carboard tube or tiny box or make your own tube with a sheet of paper. Make sure the termites are out of natural wood, and not whole sale wood, like plywood. They treat wood with chemicals and arsinic ( spelled wrong) to keep the bugs out. Also get yourself a butterfly or bird net, the baby grass hoppers are hatcing and are everywhere sweep the net through some grass short or long. It make take a while to find them but just keep looking you will be suprised at all the tiny food you can find for your baby, no ants wasps or spiders please. Hope that helps. Good luck with the baby post a pic.

heres one of mine that hatced and i let it go outside ( i live in fl)
