Little gal here took all her gusto to push these big eggs out. Although they are half the normal size of a corn egg, she did it.
This is a wild caught 20 inch Miami that was found gravid.

So much for all of the 'thou shalt not breed a female less than 36" or 250g' stuff you so often see here. Females will breed when they're ready in the wild, and this little gal was ready at a size most keepers would SCREAM over, if someone intentionally introduced her to a male.
It's all relative in the corn world. The only "set in stone" rule is: There are no "set in stone" rules.

Importers have noted that many types of wild caught herps come in gravid at half the average adult size for the species (whatever species it may be). Locality specific Miami corns don't generally grow to the same average size as other locality corns, they're smaller. So although it may seem out-of-place for a snake this small to produce eggs, it happens more often than you might think. Baby Miamis often need lizards as their "starter" food, as some have difficulty swallowing pinky mice.
