Subocs Pipping

johnbort2 Aug 23, 2006 11:17 AM

Went out to check my incubator before work and a couple of the subocs were working their way out of the eggs. I will post pics when I get home tonight. I had a very early breeding this year. Of course, as soon as I opened the lid, they retreated into their eggs. Cute little buggers!

How many eggs did you get and how long did they take to pip.?What temps.?

Thanks. I had them from around 80 degrees in my homemade incubator. Never seen a newborn..look at the pale spot on the head. Is this normal. It almost looks silvery..both parents are normals. 79 days since they were laid. The other 3 have yet to pip. I had3 go bad early on. I candled and I can see all the veins and what looks like babies in there.
