got to have a window
This is Squig's cage. It's 4 feet wide, 2 feet deep, & 1.5 feet tall. The ledges are built out of polystyrene (styrofoam) & covered in tile grout. Polystyrene is toxic so you have to make sure it's covered completely. Hope this helps. Kristin
P.S. Sorry the pic isn't of the best quality. =(

...its going to house our *rescued* savannah monitors. About 13 feet long... Runs the entire length of the room so I can't get a picture of the whole thing LOL. When the savs outgrow it, it will be 'handed down' to the collareds. The front will be made from 3 panels of 25" x 48" super-strength storm window glass I salvaged a whole stack of LOL. Cost so far is about $50 for the 2-by's. Off to the shop to cut up some salvaged melamine LOL.

....its sort of heavy duty base construction, planning on about 5" of soil-type substrate in places (and the usual huge rocks LOL). Hard hat area!

Coming along nicely...Looks like it's missing a train right now.
...tripled LOL. Went to cut the 3rd section of melamine to length and the switch on my 1972 Porter Cable/Rockwell circular saw finally gave up. Off to Lowe's to order a new switch (they still stock them LOL) but had to buy another saw anyway. It was time, the old saw (I bought it new back when I was a youngster) was well made... Of solid polished aluminum. Fun to use while standing in a puddle LOL. Shockingly well made!

I had one like that...my dad gave it to me. It was all polished aluminun, and would bite you really good sometimes due to a short LOL...funny thing was, I broke the safety button off the switch, and dad was always losing it. I got it for a present...without the safety switch

Hheheheheh, okay so I just wanted you to look, LMAO Eve
"...ya pansies!" LOL. Naw, this feature you refer to was not one of the available options on the "new-for-1972" circular saws. They seemed more interested in making them last for 30 years before the switch needed replacing...
Anyway, this afternoon's fun was installing the floor and cutting all the grooves and tennons for the glass fronts. Here is a snap of it all dry-fitted w/ glass in place; Now it all comes back down to finish up all the internal trim and route the wiring and braces before final assembly. Eve: Note the extra decals which were not shown in the other views LOL.
