blue?

i thinkin of getting a baby atb and this is the encloser i had in mind,i need comments on wat to change.40 gallon plastic box the ones like tuppawear but giant and with a lid,newspaper on bottem,live pothos covering perches of pvc,im going to cut a hole in the lid and silicone mesh to the hole and put a uv/heat light there and if needed a heating pad.also can i use a heating pad on the plastic.also i'd like to get either a red or yellow,but has anyone heard of a blue.thanks and sorry for the long post.

There are people selling animals that they call "blue" but they are just typical garden phase that are more of a brownish blue not the true blue such as a "blue" GTP. Personally there are some really nice yellows on the for sale page that I'd pick up if there were some holes to fill in my projects.

As far as the cage goes, If you want to use PVC for perches, you need to use some connectors so it isn't just strait pipes. Those are fine for ETB's and GTP's but the amazons like to lay in the junction of a couple of branches and will almost never perch like an ETB. With the heat situation, if you can afford it, a heat pannel is the way yo go. Lightbulbs tend to dry out the enclosures too fast, or at least that is what I have experienced. Hope this helps, Matt
