black pine brumation

so i looked up weather trends in the counties where black pines are still wild and it looks like the temps only go to a low of 55 for a month and a half and then start rising again so i was wondering if they actually need a full brumation of maybe it might be better to just stick with the average temps and not fully brumate any helpfull hints would be greatly appreciated
