Hey Kerby and others...

You know the Mendota male I have and the "banana/aberrant" female I breed him to, right? Each year I get a real hodge-podge of looks and patterns with some cool stripers. Well, anyway that pair always seems to throw babies with what I think are cool stripes through the eyes and on the face. They are the only Cals that do that for me.
Do you get that facial stripe with yours??

But to be honest I haven't paid any attention to that.

Now that I look at your pic I can see the distinct stripe pattern.

Ya know Zach, I never have. I would maybe get some melanistics too since dad is?? I'm not up on the Cal/Mendota thing really. Well, now I gotta try... I think I have one from last year that looks very much as the one in the pic. Maybe...
