2 inches seems like a very small size for a 3 month old leopard gecko. How do you know the age for sure? Do you have any idea how much it weighs? Sometimes pet stores have no clue so if you just got it and they said it is 3 months old, it probably isn't.

Some other questions:

Is it eating? If so, how much?
How long have you had it and have you observed any growth or shedding?
Have you been noticing poo in the cage? Is it solid?
