Vanishing Hondos (pics)

Roy Stockwell Aug 25, 2006 03:27 AM

Well my old girl has produced a second clutch. She was re-bred with my Hypo male. This is the pair that produced the vanishing weirdos a couple weeks ago, so who knows.. could be more weird ones coming
7 good eggs , one slug

The first clutch produced these... (below)(just had their first shed)

And this nice one we'll call a "sockhead circleback" the two above are females and this one below is a male... just imagine the crazy hypos these could make. guess I better keep all 3 of them.

And below is the breeding that yielded this. These both have perfect symmetrical triads but they must be carrying the vanishing trait, however it works.

I think it's safe to say that I've seen more crazy looking Hondurans posted on this forum this year than any previous year, and there's a heck of a lot of eggs still incubating. Congrats on that aberrant one!

cool pictures. those are some neat snakes. The adults look very nice, but what a surprise to see those abberant patterns coming from them. What temp did you cook those eggs at?
