Something Special...

Here is a few updated pics of this girl (Possible Caramel, T Positive Albino) together with one of her Hypo siblings and a Motley male I purchased from Bill Kirby. Sorry about the poor camera skills, I can't seem to get a good picture of this girls true colors.

I think that animal clearly is a "T-Positive" Albino. I personally would not hesitate to say so. There is no reason not to believe it will be genetic either. If you had a "T-Negative" or regular Albino pop up, would anyone wonder if it were genetic? I think not. You have a T-Positive and a wonderful find at that. Not really a find I know as it was born at your place, in one of my cages I might add. I wish I had something like that! A wonderful animal for sure! Congrats!

Thanks guys, I can't wait to pair up her parents again and hope lightning strikes twice! If not, I'll be pairing the daughter up with the father in 3yrs. The least I should get is a good number of of 100% Hets and Dhets from breeding her to her dad, which is a DH Ghost.

Here are some pics of her parents:

Here is a picture of her right after birth:

Must be in the cages..LOL

Those are some wicked nice looking cages! A really nice neat set up too. You can tell from that picture that you are very organized. Very neat indeed. I'm sure you had posted it before but is that baby a male or a female?

Gerryssscales Aug 25, 2006 03:45 PM

Thanks Jeff, that one is a female. I was able to hold back 2.2 Hypos, 2.3 Pastels and 0.1 Poss T Positive Albino from that litter. They are all taking F/T fuzzy rats and growing like weeds.

Here are some pics of her litter mates taken a few months back:

Those are very nice to. I also have no doubt it's a T so I would have kept the whole litter, they all are possible hets !
