RobertIII Aug 25, 2006 11:04 AM

HI all, Well i am going to go the easy route and transfor a existing bookcase into a snake cage. I have seen on here before i believe. so any suggestions on what i could or should do is helpful. I am thinking of putting locks on the doors and also putting heat light in each one. I was also thinking of putting like the fake rock background to make it look nice. if anyone has any links or anything that could help me i would appreciate it. all suggestions are welcomed. thnx for the help

It's all a matter of how much we you are going to put into it. I just finished a bookcase that's 5x6 and that took about three weeks. I went a little extreme with it though. depending on the measurements, you could order the fake rock background from exoterra and slip that into the shelves. my concern with your bookcase is that the doors slide into the top of each section so that limits what you can do with lighting or heating. what are the hxwxd?
