Sorry. While the poor picture quality might cause some folks to think that it COULD be a pastel, those with much experience will tell you It's a nice light normal with some nice blushing....

vcane Aug 25, 2006 01:52 PM

no just a golden looking normal

thing I've ever seen (Below the picture of the wonderful pastel). What kind of bird is that? It doesn't look very tough. Everyone knows the real mascot in the ACC is this guy:

vcane Aug 25, 2006 02:23 PM

at least he did until he played the U last year LMAO Now he's a free agent returning punts for the Dolphins. Cant wait to play ya in the OB.

Well see. We sure played terribly last year. Last trip to the OB worked out pretty well for us, so I'm looking forward to it. You guys need to take care of the Semenholes so our half of the league stays strong. Go Canes (except for on the 4th of November, of course).

I was at the ACC championship last year and I can say most of the VT fans were very cool couldn't say the same for F$U fans.

Look no further than the Big 12 for real competition....Texas is our only real threat. I hope the 'Canes and VT both have an awesome season

Hey,

I have one that looks like the 2 posted previously. She has very bright yellow right against her body, just beautiful ($25 pet store special).

Has anyone tried to breed these high yellow, high blush animals together to see what comes out? It's been really interesting to see all the morphs coming, but it'd be REALLY cool to see something totally new come from these high yellow snakes. It's probly been done (like the ringer, which unfort. isn't genetic)- anyone?

Peace,

Steve

PS- Love the college football smack talk already...FOOTBALL is BACK- YAYYYY!

If you know a bit about pastels, you will know that the color is not the only thing that makes them very different from a normal. They must have a lot of blushing, greenish eyes, and a totally clear belly (to say the least).
Normal with adult pastel:

Normal with Normal

Pastel Hatchling with Mom:

-----
---------
8.15 Normal ball pythons
2.0 Pastel ball pythons
1.0 Plains Garter
0.1 Normal Kenyan Sand Boa
1.1 Anery Kenyan Sand Boa
1.0 Mid-Baja Rosy Boa
0.1 Leucistic Texas Rat
1.2 Dumeril's Boa
-----My list is too long, so I'll stop here!

there are lots of pastels without lots of blushing some with very little and some with none at all.
This gal here doesn't have a lot of blushing good for breeding w/spider or somthing like that were you are not looking for lots of blushing.
