What can i use to mark up my hatchlings?

i want to keep track of them by marking them up, but i don't know if markers will be harmful to them.

Pretty much any non-toxic marker will do, some people use nail polish but I am not completely sure if that is healthy for them or not. However, since baby dragons grow so fast and shed frequently, it may not be much of an issue.
