I live in east Orange County in central Florida. For the past few days we have had very heavy rains. I was in my front yard today and I saw a frog that looked a lot like P. vittatus. I only saw it for a couple of seconds. I've lived in rural sections of Florida for most of my life and have never seen a frog like this one. Does anyone know of a native Florida frog that might look like P. vittatus? Also, could such a frog survive in Florida?
