ReBall1 Aug 25, 2006 11:22 PM

Has anyone ever had a breeder female caged alone act like shes being receptive to a male, for example lifting her tail up and waveing it around? I have had one girl doing this off and on all day and at first I thought she was just getting ready to defacate but it never came so I'm stumped..I wanna throw a male in with her but they all just ate a couple days ago. What do you all think? Thanks Rich

....would be my guess. my BCA and dumerils will sometimes wag their tails at me when i walk by their cages. also when i put a group of females BP's on poplar/aspen shavings from newspaper, they all began to cruise about and lift their tails and wag them . it was wild, it looked as if they were also opening their cloacas and posssibly leaving a scent trail or marking. thx, john yocum
