handling?

do you guys always wash your hands after handling your toads or do you forget somtimes,or you dont eve handle your frogs.i just wanted to know how serious this subject was.

If I have to handle them (FBT), which I avoid if possible, I wash my hands before with an organic soap (no chemicals for the frog to absorb), and afterward with something decent. Normally, If I have to move my toads, I do it with a net.

i have american toads and fire belly toads so i don't really handle them much, but i usually don't wash my hands. it is a good idea to wash them before though. good question
