Increasing Acidity in the water?

I need to find a way to up the PH in my turtle water without waiting for leaching from leaves and pine needles. I change the water often and I want to make sure I am keeping the acidity up without carrying water from blackwater streams all the time.

Any upscale tropical fish store should have "blackwater extract". You simply sprinkle it into the water according to the directions. Or, you can purchase peat blocks which are added to certain types of filters. These work more slowly, but should last longer.

Petsmart carries a Ph Increase and Ph Decrease Formula... I've been using it in my Twist neck's tank and so far so good. It has kept her Ph levels down between 5 and 6 - They also carry a Ph meter that you can leave in the tank to constantly monitor Ph levels.
