Is this the last litter of 2006 for me?

boaphile Aug 26, 2006 03:40 PM

A small number or Peruvians Red Tail babies. This could be the last litter of 2006 for me:

I very tiny litter of Peruvian Red Tails / Parents are both captive born. Grandparents are from Pucallpa Peru the same as the other litter I had earlier this year. I am always amazed how HUGE these Peruvian Babies are! Monstrous!

I did have the best Pastel Het Albino I own ovulate in early July. She had not had the male Pastel Albino in with her for more than two months. She is due on Halloween. Orange Albinos on Halloween would be fine with me but it seems like a long shot given the long time from breeding to ovulation. I have had it happen, but most often it's not good.

So, how about these Peruvians! I love these things!

If it IS your last litter this year....I can think of no better way to end a breeding season than a litter of Peruvians.

However, the Boaphile I know usually has one or two more tricks up his sleeve than he let's on.

Nice Peruvians though!!
