I found a ground skink about a week ago and i just let it go a yesterday although I didint want to I had to because I knew it should be in the wild. I'am only 13 and i will greatly appreciate any animals that you recommend if you pick one will you tell me some information about it so i can tell my mom why it is a good pet to choose i already have a 20 gallon aquarium and it is long not wide please i need your help

well If you want something that can eventually live in a twenty gallon here are some

1-3 adult leopard geckos
1-4 pictus geckos
possibly a bearded dragon if you let him walk around your room every day or 2

these are the ones I can think of right now.If I think of anymore Ill post them

I don't think an adult beardie in a 20 would have room to thermoregulate properly..

They are, by far, the easiest reptile to keep. They tame down very easily, can live up to 20 years, they don't get terribly huge, are relatively inexpensive and are very easy to breed if you ever want to try it.

Here are some great places to check out for info:

www.leopardgecko.com/emcare.html

Hope this helps. Leopard geckos are, by far, the best lizard pet for a beginner, and experts love them, too
