Hi, I currently have two spurr thighed tortoises. They have been living with me for about 2 years. I even have a vet that is a reptile specialist. For the first couple of years everything has been going well. They have been happy and very active. I have noticed that since May one of them has slowed down eating. We have battles every night to get her to eat. For every time she moves away I put her back. I have taken her to the vet and he says he can't find anything physically wrong with her. There is no discharge from the nose, eyes, or mouth. She will act like she can not open her mouth to eat. Once she starts she will slowly forget about not opening her mouth. I took her in as a rescue and have treated her for a resportory infections shortly after I took her home.
Thanks
