2 Balls haven't eaten.....help!

mysolidarity Aug 26, 2006 09:14 PM

Okay. I bought 2 adult balls about three months ago from a guy who works at a pet place. Supposedly they are 3 and 4 years old. They were raised and always lived in the same tank, so I took them both. He told me they are eating pre killed adult mice - 1 each per week on fridays. So next friday came and I tried frozen thawed. To no avail. They didn't seem to notice it. Same another week later. Waited 2 more weeks and tried a pre-killed adult mouse. Still nothing. At 2 months tried pre-killed again....nothing. I don't want to feed it live mice but at wit's end fed them live. They didn't even look twice at the mice. I separated the snakes during feeding. I know they can be picky eaters but at 3 months I am starting to get frustrated and a little worried. I want them to eat. Anything that I am not trying that I should be would greatly be appreciated. I've tried everything that I found online...

Snakes should not be housed together, give each snake it's own enclosure. Wait a week and try to feed them in the new enclosure.
