Hello everyone
i just acquired a very nice tall glass tank. a few years ago i kept in a green anole and a green treefrog in a similar tank and they thrived for a long time. I was thinking of doing the same thing except adding to the mix a house gecko and maybe a small day gecko what do you all think about this? all comments welcome

thanks

i've kept green treefrogs, squirrel treefrogs, green and brown anoles, and house geckos together successfully before. i had 3 green treefrogs, 2 squirrel treefrogs, 6 anoles and 3 geckos in a 55 gal tank with soil substrate, a ton of live plants (pothos, diffenbachia, philodendron, assorted ferns, arrow arum, silver queen, and other tropical house plants), two water bowls, a exo-terra waterfall, and branches and logs for climbing and basking. i kept a flourscent light on the tank for the herps and the plants and a 60 watt day light on one end of the tank and a 40 watt ceramic heater for night.

most of the time i would not suggest housing more than one species per tank, but if any were to work it would be this one, both are of similar size, eat similar foods, and their habitat is very similar, good luck and tell me how it turns out!

if your going to have a mixed tank at LEAST make sure that they can't fit in each others mouths
