crested gecko with anole and frogs???"

smith710 Aug 27, 2006 05:38 PM

Ok i didn't know where to post this so I posted it in the gecko forum because I'm most worried about the crested gecko than anything else. Given the cage is big enough... would it be ok to house a crested gecko, some tree frogs, and an anole together?? I'm not too worried about the frogs and the gecko, I'mk more worried about the anole bothering the gecko... I understand some people don't believe in housing seperate species of animals together and that's fine. Other than that, do you think the anole would bother the gecko or the frogs??? I don't have any experience in anoles so that's why I would like to know. I know everybody would have to be around the same size so I'm not worried about anybody eating eachother but will the anole "attack" the gecko or the frogs???
Thanks alot

firt off it is not a good idea to house different species in the same tank. the treefrog(s) (depending on what type) will probally try and eat the anole. crested geckos are large and may pester the other two species. heres a good article about housing different herps together: http://amphibiancare.com/frogs/articles/communitytank.html

yes I understand the whole " do not house different species of reptiles... I think I mentioned that... I would just like to know if the anole is something that would go after anything else...
