Newborn's size based on gender?

Howdy I have 4 baby wandering garters and I noticed that two of them are much larger than the other two. I know the smaller two are eating but it seems that no matter what the bigger two are just growing so fast. I was wondering if this was possibly a sign of their gender. What else could possibly be the reason?
