It depends largely on the living temperatures and quality of food and nutrition. Off the top of my head, I think the accepted range is something like 9 months to 15 months, you can check a good leo book for more details. My current girl started eating on an adult schedule at 8 months and was well over 9 inches long when I measured her the end of that month.
