My New Mex Mex

Gsc Aug 28, 2006 04:25 PM

I just finished posting these pics on the mexicana sub fourm but figured I'd share them on the general fourm. I just purchased a pair of speckled/granite mex mex from Don Shores after being inspired by that beautiful pair that MikMurphy got at Datonya this year. They aren't as speckled as I would have liked, but the parents do throw some very nice looking granite phase mex mex.

All the pictures were took by Don Shores and sent to me via email when I was purchasing the pair...so please give him the credit. I believe he still has some speckled/granite females left!

Here is the 2006 female...she has a much better speckled looking pattern than the male... I can't wait to see her all grown up!

Here is the male...slightly speckled pattern...but he has some great genetics and should produce some killer looking offspring one day!

Nice! Congrats. Man, that last one is smokin'. They are all nice. Those two look completely different than my two. I love all the variation. Keep posting pics as they grow. I'll do the same. BTW, can I ask what Don charged you for them?

Around $250 each... He said the ones with better speckling (like the '05 I posted) go for much more. Yours are top notch man and should produce you some screamer babies!
