When is better in Fl, Sept or Nov

pithons Aug 28, 2006 08:25 PM

I can go to Fl either the last week in Sept or i can go the first week of Nov.. Id like to catch a few snakes while Im there. What is better time for the snakes being more active, or are they about the same.

I've always found September to be more productive, but then I live in North Florida. November can be quite chilly in the northern part of the state, while September is usually summerlike and the snakes are somewhat more active than usual. On the other hand, if you're going to be in South Florida it probably doesn't matter which month you choose.
