When my Kings hatch out I usually sex them right away then I inspect them for any flaws i.e. Kinks etc... With the Georgia Easterns I just hatched out they were all flawless. Trust me Im very thorough in this aspect I dont want anyone getting a flawed animal. Anyway this female pictured was the first snake too shed. I let her enclosure get a little dry right before and she was having a hard time with the back half of her shed. When I picked her up and was about to rub the skin off I felt a small kink. You really couldnt see it but I could feel it. I was kinda bent that I missed it upon 1st inspection plus it was a female of wich Im shy on. Anyway I fed her and she ate right away and tonight I went to clean her cage and I tried finding that Kink and *POOF*... it was gone ??? I knew pretty much where it was and it simply wasnt there. I first kinda thought maybe after eating she bulked up a little but I pressed in the area and it really is gone. Anybody had that happen before ? Now granted this kink was minor (virtually naked to the eye)and maybe it wasnt even a kink ? Maybe she pulled a muscle trying to shed and it simply swelled up ??? Reagrdless she seems okay.
