Hey all,

Just a quick question, how often do you mist your Chondro's for drinking purposes?
At the moment I am misting my little guy twice a day, once first thing and once mid afternoon.
The humidity is staying constant around 80%.

For drinking purposes my chondros have a water dish. For humidity issues my enclosures are ventilated so that spraying is needed once daily, this allows the humidity to drop a bit. If in pre-shed i will keep the humidity high so the snake has an easier time shedding. I know, have seen them drink as water is sprayed on them and the enclosures props, but they should have a water dish so they can drink as they want.

Adults or subadults are sprayed once in the evening so that they have humidity and water to drink off their bodies. I've never seen my Jaya use the water bowl. My sorong uses it often as well as drinking off herself. Babies are sprayed twice a day to keep the humidity more constant, and at shed, I bump up the humidity.
