Inferno Pastel......

lexxxx300 Aug 29, 2006 03:27 PM

This was produced by Tony Hawkins of 2nd Alarm Reptiles. I was kind of skeptical buying from him since I had never heard of him but SDI (Stephen Duffrig sp??) recommended him but it went fantastically smooth. These animals turn insanely orange. I posted a pic of an older siblings that Stephen has. I hope it is okay Stephen that I posted your pic. This line of pastel is relatively new. I can't believe this guy has a ton of babies left...hint hint...lol

This is the pic that sold me....I had to have this bloodline. (pic is owned byStephen)

those tiny pics on his website can't be enlarged for a better look. Those Pastels look as good as any of the best well known bloodlines. Morphs are cool and all, but imho, you just can't beat a smokin' Pastel..

Things always get cloudy, just before transformation.

After seeing thoughs pics I wouldnt mind having one but with thoughs pics on the website it makes it hard. With no way to see what your getting you really dont know how pretty they really are. I dont want to ask him for 30 pics so I can compare the babies and pick one. Any still great pastels maybe next year when I can pick a nice female.

sent me bigger and better pics. I pretty sure he has more females left. At first I just told him to send me something nice because I couldn't tell from those little thumbnails. That is how desperate I was to get the bloodline and he picked one out and said "trust me". I thought this guy must be crazy and I did and WOW!!! I was impressed.

Nice find!!!

This is my female at about 6.5 feet long and 20 lbs. and still light as a yearling. She was three years old when I took the pic. She is now about eight feet long and I am guessing 30-35 lbs. Tony is a good guy. I would recomend him for quality and service. I bought my boa a couple years ago and he is still checking to see how things are going (not bad). He definitely has a quality line of pastels going. They totally comply with the definition of a pastel. Look closely at the saddles and you will notice very little black.

That is pretty light for an adult. Her colors are really light peach and pink which can be seen in the head shot. Did I say I am pleased with her.

She may get a little jungle fever this year.

Alex, I have someone who is going to help me ge some decent photos of the red group you sold me soon. Another quality boa from a quality source.

Thanks for looking.

That is definitly one killer pastel. I will have to contact him and see if he has some really nice females he can send pics of. I have been looking for a female but there not easy to find.

By the way the red groups are nice as well, can't wait to see some pics.

Second Alarm Reptiles.....If you love Brian Gundy's pastels and you'll love these as well. Pastels Colombians and Peruvians are my favorite.
