The newest version is absolutely a must have. I have been told not to bother with the older ones as the info that was updated is extensive and valuable. The forward says the first edition was published in 1995, and the 2nd edition has corrections to latin names that were incorrectly spelled in the 1st edition. The husbandry information is updated to current practices.

The correct ISBNumber is 3930612496 for the 2nd Edition.

If you are into Pygmys, the Stumptail book is also a must have.
