Marine Toads and Snakes

SnakeBoyAlex Aug 29, 2006 07:20 PM

My Florida neighborhood is full of Marine Toads, and some nearby ponds have plenty of their tadpoles and froglets. I have a pet Ribbon Snake that is feeding on fish and anoles, but it would be pretty easy to grab a couple young toads. Are the tadpoles and young toads toxic to snakes? Thanks,
Alex Harper

i suspect the tadpoles might be too small to interest your snake and both tadpoles and toadlets are poisonous anyway and will kill it if he eats them.

Marine toads in florida? Anyway they would not be good food as they would kill the snake. Marine toads are too cute for "feeders" and are about the most toxic toad around

you really make me sick. you claim i repeat CLAIM to like reptiles, amphibians, and you feed anoles to your snake. what the hell is wrong with you? people like you are warped. your twisted. you really most likely cant even see why thats wrong. and i cant understand how anyone who likes amphibians can go and grab some young toads, and end there lives like that.your barbaric your disgusting. and you should know anyway that cane toads are venomous at all stages in there life. i suppose knowing your kind you probably eat crocodile meat.
